EXPLORE BOSTON WITH OLD RES! Join me to learn about the many neighborhoods, activities, and cultural offerings in Boston, and maybe, the surrounding communities. It’s intended to be low cost or no cost, but we will not exclude opportunities that may have an entrance fee. There are no restrictions or stipulations on the types of events in which we participate. Anyone can make a suggestion and coordinate an outing. No minimum on the numbers. If you want to do something, just get the details, send it to me and we'll make it an event.

This will be an OPT-IN group. I have the original list of those who signed up at Annual Meeting. If you missed it, please email me at PRomeoG@gmail.com. There is no obligation to attend an event if you are on the list. Let me know what days and times are best for you.

Shakespeare on the Common – Summer 2020 will feature “The Tempest” -
Free Star Gazing at the Museum of Science (Fridays April-October)

The Lawn on D – May through October, featuring a Cornhole Tournament, music and other activities
Free Country Music Night at Herter Park Amphitheater, Soldier’s Field Road
Boston by Foot (Did you know that our own Joni Youngwirth is a tour guide)
Neighborhood Walking Tours - EATALY – A gustatory and visual feats

Join us for our first event!

Join a Boston Athenaeum docent for an hour-long Art & Architecture Tour
focused on the history of the Athenaeum, its iconic building and its special collections.

Saturday, November 9, 2019, 2 pm

Minimum 6 participants, maximum 10. $10/pp
We MAY (no guarantees) be able to get a second group if there is demand in time to get another docent.
There will be time after the tour to linger and view some of the collection.
