Our dear friend, neighbor, and member (first) of the Lexington Newcomers and then the ORYC, Dennis Brown, passed away on May 10, 2020, following a short hospitalization. His wife, JoAnn, of 46 years, and daughter, Jenni, along with his grandchildren ( Evan, 10, and Abbie, 13) were so grateful to be able to spend some time with him at his bedside. Dennis will be remembered for his special, droll sense of humor and twinkle in those brilliant blue eyes. The ORYC made a donation in Dennis’ name to the American Lung Association. JoAnn is both so grateful and gracious in her appreciation for the support and kind notes she has received from our community. The photo of Dennis was taken during a trip to Iceland a few years ago. | ![]() |

![]() Paul Carter, a longtime Old Res member, passed away on April 15, 2020. Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Cris, and cherished daughters Carissa (Ty), and Stephanie (Jason), and the lights of his life, his fourgrandchildren. Paul practiced as an endodontist and his superb skill, decency and trademark sharp wit were constants. Paul loved to travel to exotic places with Cris, family and friends. He also had such a strong aptitude for gardening that his flower and vegetable gardens always overflowed in color and crops. In addition, he devoted much time and energy fundraising for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, He was always touched by the huge number of friends and family that turned out in Team Carter shirts every spring to walk and run together in the MMRF Annual Walk for Research. Visit his spirit in the blooms around you, say hello to him in your gardens, and remember his love in your hearts and stories. |

Paul Stoller, a most dedicated partner to our beloved, previously deceased Sandy Stoller, passed away on July 29, 2020. No one appreciated a good game of poker like Paul. The games were always lively and jovial and many times quite loud. We’ll miss Paul at the table. | ||

It is with great sadness that we report the loss of Sandy Stoller on Feb 18, 2020. She and her husband Paul are longtime members of Old Res. She spent her life trying to make the world a better place, from protesting the Vietnam War (where she met Paul) to her chartable work and later in life she quit her job and spent the last 15 years volunteering at various organization for causes she believed in until the brain disorder made that no longer possible. In lieu of flowers, she would appreciate a donation in her name to either The Parkinson’s Foundation, https://www.parkinson.org, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation, https://www.michaeljfox.org/donate |
